The Georgia Street Rod Association was formed in 1976 to promote safety and awareness to the automotive hobby in the State of Georgia.   We hold yearly safety clinics and inspections throughout Georgia on hundreds of vehicles to help make the road a safer place.

Georgia Street Rod Association benefits the education of students going into the Technical School System of Georgia by its scholarship program.  Established in 2007 with a donation of $6,000 for students enrolled in the High Performance Automotive/Motorsports program at South Georgia Technical College. The purpose of the fund is to assist students pursuing automotive technology careers. More funds were received in 2008. The principal amount invested was $10,000 over the first two years. Through funding by donations and the Georgia Street Rod Association, more youth have been able to attend college than ever before.  We continue to accept donations directly from individuals and organizations.
